What a dang year! With its epic high-highs and wistfully low-lows, 2022 was a time for deep reflection, focusing on root motivations, accompanied by an honest look into the mirror - personal accountability shining brightly in reflection.

What did you realize was more within your control than it might have seemed?

After a serious year of review, followed by its ever reliable opportunity for renewed motivation (thank you to the glorious sun now in Capricorn) I'm def ready to forge ahead and make 2023 the year of LOVE, TRUTH, EXPLORATION, and LEADERSHIP (don’t forget, YOU are the leader of your own experience!).

Onto the notorious transit...

I know it's against the popular rhetoric surrounding Mercury Retrograde, but I have to say, I WELCOME this chaotic energy. Girl loves a routine but from time to time you have to look at what's going on in your life and make sure it's still 'doin.

A retrograde centered in practicality, productivity, and organization is precisely the time to make sure you're set up for success. This speaks volumes to my cold little Capricorn moon! But keep in mind, part of the Capricorn motivation is recognition - make sure you're also finding ways to REward your hard work thus far…

Mercury Retrograde is a time to RE-think/view/new/etc. With the most clever of planets ruling your mindset and communication swirling around down-to-earth, work-minded Capricorn, it's an incredible time to look at the basics and determine if they're truly working for you. Now that I'm nearing the end of a challenging Saturn ruled year, I can thankfully say YES. They are. Or they will be soon enough.

PS, Fun Fact: if you were born with Mercury in Retrograde, you likely feel a lot less of the RE- energy than your Mercury direct friends…
