What is astrology?

The answer to this question could fill up so many pages so I’ll leave you and google to find the formal answer that resonates best, but for the purposes of Astrotiq, I’ll tell you what it means to me: I use astrology as a tool for introspection. A guide used to prompt questions, and ultimately give us permission to be our FULL selves. Some combination of all twelve astrological signs live within us. You are comprised of what you do, think, value, love, feel, and so much more. Each of these functions, and the areas of life we apply them to or experience them in can be found within the natal chart. The planets and signs indicated in each area will speak to how we go about each function. When you use astrology to spiritually evaluate, you can ask yourself, “is this true for me?" From there, further ponder how you can embody the highest effectiveness of that placement, and be honestly self aware when realizing the challenging manifestations of each placement. Because if we know we’re drawn to a tendency, it can be our superpower, not our weakness.

Are sessions and natal charts confidential?

YES! Your natal chart will be generated and stored in secure software intended for the purposes of private astrological readings. No one will have access to your chart unless you explicitly request or grant permission. Virtual sessions may be recorded and sent in a private email link. Please keep in mind that if you decide to schedule an in person session at a public place, there is no way to ensure total confidentiality, but we will use our discretion to ensure it’s as private as possible.

Do you see children/teens?

I do not work directly with individuals under 18 years of age at this time. However, I 1000% recommend having your child’s natal chart done as early as birth! You better believe I had that chart generator up when I was in the hospital recovering from the birth experience with my daughter. There are many incredible things to learn about your child that will only help you to love and guide them better. I plan to write some detailed blog charts in the future, but to keep it simple, I recommend at very least ordering the My Big Three Astroguide and ideally, scheduling a 55 minute consultation to review their chart in detail.

What is the cancellation / reschedule policy?

If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible! In order to reschedule, 24 hours notice is required. If less than 24 hours notice is provided when requesting to reschedule, a $25 convenience fee will be added to the final invoice.

What is the refund policy?

Full refunds may be provided via original method of payment if requested within 24 hours of appointment confirmation or product purchase payment. Once 24 hours have passed, the natal chart research and interpretation work begins, so no refunds will be provided after 24 hours of payment have passed.

If a natal chart reading is cancelled within 24 hours of appointment time, but after final appointment payment is made, no refunds are offered but you may reschedule to a new date/time.

Where are in person sessions conducted?

In person sessions can be conducted at many locations throughout the Triangle! We will determine a mutually agreeable location via email once your appointment request is submitted. Let’s tailor this session to you! Where do you feel comfortable? Would you like to review your chart over some cold pressed juice downtown at Raleigh Raw? Or at a cozy coffee shop like Sola in North Raleigh? We could even go for a walk! We’ll collaborate to make sure we meet somewhere conducive for our conversation.

What methods of payment do you accept?

I accept personal checks, cash (virtual or paper), and credit cards. Credit card and virtual cash payments may be submitted through PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App. Payment instructions and links will be sent via email upon appointment/product confirmation.

Why is a deposit required?

Because your chart is completely unique to you I must examine it in its entirety prior to our appointment. In order to have an effective consultation, I begin the deep dive into your chart the moment you book an appointment. Not only do I tap into my inner wisdom, spiritual guidance, and educational background, I seek to provide you with the most up to date, relevant information about your chart, cross referencing various texts, almanacs, and professional sources to ensure accuracy and resonance. Half of my working time is spent prior to our actual appointment!
